As part of our 4 part wellness series, our application chemists have assembled 11 strategies you can employ to help get skin ready for summer– all leveraging guide formulations, direct from the Natural Plant Products Applications Lab.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CLEANSING<\/strong><\/p>\n

#1.<\/strong> Our Go-Go Cleansing Stick<\/a>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0– while intended for the face – can also be applied to the body at home or while on-the-go when no other soap is available. This unique solid cleansing stick has a high oil load of\u00a0Meadowfoam Seed Oil<\/strong><\/a> and Daikon Seed Extract<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and gentle surfactants that create lots of dense luxurious lather to cleanse your skin. Upon rinsing, MSO and DSE impart a silky smooth moisturizing feel that isn\u2019t greasy. And, unlike many cleansing products with an alkaline pH that can be harsh on the skin, ours has a lower pH closer to the skin\u2019s, thus gentler.<\/p>\n

EXFOLIATING<\/strong><\/p>\n

#2.<\/strong> Our\u00a0Fresh Start Body\/Hand Scrub<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/a> – Packed with natural oils and exfoliators, our scrub provides welcome relief to tired, dry, dull skin. Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Daikon Seed Extract leave skin feeling smooth and moisturized yet not greasy. Oat Lipid e, rich in ceramides, locks in moisture while OleoFLEX helps lock oils onto the skin. Vegetable Petrolatum (an all-natural alternative to petrolatum) prevents water loss. Sugar acts as a gentle, natural exfoliator. Oat COM colloidal oatmeal soothes irritated skin.<\/p>\n

MOISTURIZATION – DAY TIME<\/strong><\/p>\n

This super on-the-go moisturizing stick is an efficient, delivery format for targeted and multi-purpose moisturizing. Loaded with four natural emollients and Vitamin E, it\u2019s a super rich yet easy-to-apply moisturizer.\u00a0Daikon Seed Extractprovides a light, silicone-type slip while\u00a0Meadowfoam Seed Oilgives a fast-absorbing yet luxurious depth. #6.<\/strong> \u00a0Body Oil<\/u><\/em><\/a><\/strong> \u2013 A great stress reliever after a long day can be a hand massage. Our body oil contains a combination of oils to give the right viscosity for spreadability, while also providing quick absorption and penetration.\u00a0Meadowfoam Seed Oil\u2019s\u00a0superb emolliency imparts rich, moisturizing feel with good absorption while\u00a0Daikon Seed Extract\u00a0gives light, smooth, silky, non-greasy yet moisturizing feel. This body oil is not only an excellent moisturizer, but provides a nice glide as a massage oil.<\/p>\n

#7.<\/strong> Straight Meadowfoam Seed Oil<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/a> provides luxurious spot moisturization for extra conditioned skin. Fast absorbing and rich without being overly greasy, it can soften dry skin and bring relief.<\/p>\n

#8.<\/strong> Straight Daikon Seed Extract<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0provides silky, fast-absorbing moisturization. Daikon Seed Extract, Virgin Cold-Pressed Meadowfoam CP<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and mechanically extracted Meadowfoam Seed Oil XPR<\/strong><\/em><\/a> are also both Ecocert and COSMOS approved.<\/p>\n

MOISTURIZATION – NIGHT TIME<\/strong><\/p>\n

#9.<\/strong> Our Night Relief Hand Cream <\/em><\/strong><\/a>is a fragrance-free, luxurious formulation for night time use for hands as well as body.\u00a0Meadowfoam Seed Oil gives this rich, moisturizing hand cream a substantial feel balanced perfectly by\u00a0Daikon Seed Extract to give a light, smooth, silky rubout with a non-greasy yet moisturizing feel. Glycerin acts as a humectant to attract moisture and Kostol PGP acts as an emulsifier and skin conditioner. Botanically-based preservatives include\u00a0honeysuckle extract and honeysuckle flower extract.<\/p>\n

And, when combined with amino acid-derived gelatinization agents, XPR and DSE form a clear, solid stick that resists melting\/softening in warm temperatures.
