Naturally Gentle Face Wash Bar

It’s not your average bar of soap - this facial cleansing bar has a high oil load and gentle, plant-derived surfactants to protect and moisturize skin while removing dirt, oil, and makeup. Free from dyes and perfumes, the formulation is also vegan, water-wise and all-natural, meeting top consumer trends. The bar format is great for travel and requires minimal packaging.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, made from renewable coconut fatty acids, gently removes dirt, oil, and makeup. Daikon Extracto de semilla is a partially-upcycled ingredient that imparts a silicone-like slip while improving skin barrier function. Meadowfoam Seed Oil XPR brings superior oxidative stability to the formulation and helps increase the shelf life of other natural oils when blended.

Apply bar to wet skin to create a light lather. Rinse well.

Heat Phase A to 75-80ºC while mixing with propellor. Separately heat Phase B to 75-80ºC. Add B to A and continue to mix while cooling to 65ºC, add phase C. Fill molds at 65ºC.
